This is my blurb for the site I started ambling into as I looked through family history. Its grown into a rambling , ambling muddle but I, myself , am very fond of it.

This site is not really meant for public consumption. It's a seeking of my own through the Golden Threads of Family but if you choose to proceed, please excuse any inaccuracies or obscurities. If I err, please let me know. If I offend, please let me know. I shall then determine what action to take. If you are able to assist, as so many of you have already, your help will be gratefully accepted. The accuracies and academic certainty of the professional and expert are not my domain. Mine is the rambling research of a novice. If you have helped already and I have not acknowledged it, I apologise right now. Let me know and I will remedy that matter. There are many far more expert and longterm Colonial and Genealogical webmasters out there than I am and I link to them as I encounter them because they are splendid. The Electronic Era has turned all the lights on in a room where our predecessors searched with a flickering candle and at great expense. The last of my ancestors to come to Australia was way back in the 1850s. The first white fella was back in the 17790s. There are convicts, servants, labourers, Sutherland Shire Scots, Irish rebels, English Coin Makers and all manner of others.

On the surface it is interesting, but at a deeper level, I have experienced a Rounding Off - a pervading comfort - a spiritual explanation of restlessness and rebellion, fear and passions I have lived with all my life and never before quite understood. There is much further to go ! Another generation rises.

I have begun to stumble across some fine blogs and into the world of the PhotoBlog. The first ones I have encountered have been through Neil's work. Now in his SECOND DECADE.  That directed me to some City Blogs and from there I have been visually travelling the World before returning to my own small Place and Time here on the North Coast of N.S.W. To begin the SIXTY EYES 2010 VISION I have allowed myself a goodly look into the Rear Vision Mirror of my Life as well as Backgrounding my present situation with Izzy in Ulmarra. From this point on, I shall attempt one or two daily images and occasional rambling luxuries. I am interested in seeing this new Decade, new Year, develop. Already, a baby girl has been born into our family.

This is my personal blog. Daily Life. I am a White Hair and living in Ulmarra at this time. Most of my stories are about the Northern Rivers of NSW. Seems to be my Fate to live amongst them so I am 'embracing' them as my Destiny for this time ( and for many years previous ).

On occasion, a depression of sorts rises around me like an Ulmarrian Mist but acceptance is beginning to settle in. Somewhat. When I am in the CWA Rooms in Grafton for my Meetings, I look up at the wall and see the hand embroidered map of Australia and am a little perturbed at the Smallness of the Blue Area of NSW which is the Only Section of the World I have actually ever seen except for brief forays into Queensland, Victoria and ACT.  How glorious then is the Internet !!!!

As for me, its the LYNNE BRAITHWAITE-SANDERS Blog for people who don't mind a Small World and a Big Name.

HEATWAVE IN ULMARRA

Its SUMMER in Australia with blistering heat and Catastrophic  Fire Warnings.  Here, in Ulmarra, in Forealty Towers, the fans are on. The doors and windows are catching breezes and all is well.
